North Connex

The NorthConnex road infrastructure project in Australia has had a major impact on the region's transportation system. The tunnel, which runs for 9 kilometres between the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga and the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills, has been designed to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety for road users.

North Connex Tunnel

The NorthConnex tunnel, required 450m2 of medium brown sandstone wall cladding with a honed finished for the Northern Ventilation buildings.
The sandstone features a bespoke cut to achieve this unique appearance.
